In this fast-paced and action-oriented world, it is here we are able to find a connection to ourselves, and to our innate inner creative flow.  We have a main event space, a rentable workshop space, an artist programme, our vegetarian cafe and a yoga studio.

Purpose of the Job

An exciting opportunity to join and grow Re:Centre from year one, this key individual will develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to promote Re:Centre and grow our community. The role will involve delivering the organisation’s marketing plan by generating leads, raising the profile of the business and enhancing engagement. You will ensure delivery of brand standards throughout planning, advertising and event organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create awareness of and develop the brand
  • Email and social campaigns, including producing regular member newsletters
  • Social Media Management to enhance engagement across all platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Ensure creative, engaging and relevant information across all platforms
  • Support web management as required to deliver improvements to our digital estat, including building and editing web pages using WordPress and CMS.
  • Copywriting for web pages, blog, email, social and print
  • Visual design i.e. website banners, social media and email imagery, PowerPoint, ensuring consistency with established brand identity
  • PPC campaigns and SEO optimisation
  • Develop creative work for both offline and online marketing channels
  • Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
  • Build and develop marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
  • Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press of the radio
  • Design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
  • Organise and attend events such as networking, seminars, workshops and exhibitions
  • Source and secure sponsorship
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers eg approving proofs and budget management
  • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Maintain and update customer databases
  • Conduct market research, for example, using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external
  • Assist in all departments of the business with a “can do” approach

With experience you will need to:

  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy
  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
  • Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare reports
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity
  • Manage external consultants, when appropriate to effectively manage events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials and online activities
  • Oversee and manage the marketing budget

Requirements

  • Proven experience and/or qualification of digital and offline marketing
  • A passion for SEM and trends in digital marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work and interact with all levels within the centre, organisation and external environment
  • Actively engage and demonstrate a clear understanding of the business whilst driving continuous improvement
  • Creativity, drive and initiative – ability to maintain effectiveness in a dynamic environment and translate opportunities into action plans
  • Commercial awareness and customer focus
  • Able to work flexibly to suit the hours and needs of the business

Education and Experience

  • Experience in either events / leisure / art environments preferred
  • Knowledge of business and management principles
  • Knowledge of office administrative procedures
  • Clear understanding of all aspects of financial planning

Salary: £22,000 gross per annum
