The Thames has been described as “London’s lifeline” and “liquid history”. In some way, it is the river that connects everyone that lives and works in London. So, whether we are conscious of it or not, we are all linked to and by the Thames.
Eight artists with varying and yet well-established practices have joined us in our large shared riverside studio. Together they are researching, collaborating and exploring in a residency all about the river. Here, they observe firsthand the tides, the changes in light and season, the ebb and flow of this ancient tributary.
Our artists include painters, textile artists, sculptors, photographers, videographers, poets and printmakers. Each artist has their own inspiration and will be sharing their work at the end of the programme in a ten-day show in our own state-of-the-art Gallery.
Please join us for the Private View on September 5th from 6:30 – 9pm. There will be an opportunity to meet the artists on the night and all work is for sale.
