Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutations, are the quintessential yoga warm-up sequence, combining deep breathing with flowing movement and stretching the entire body whilst also building strength and stillness through this moving meditation. They have countless benefits, particularly helping us gain a deeper awareness throughout the entire body.
It is however easy to fall into bad habits or even injure ourselves through improper alignment or lack of muscle engagement. In this workshop you will explore; syncing of breath and movement, correct alignment and alignment cues and the differences between the two classical Sun Salutations.

Isabel has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years.
She teaches a Dynamic Flow Yoga class focusing on movement of the body in harmony with the breath. She offers classes for students of all levels, encouraging students to move with grace and lightness, emphasising a vinyasa krama approach throughout the practice.
She focuses on the mind-body connection to calm her students’ minds and to achieve a sense of greater balance and well-being.
