BLUE MONDAY: Explore How to be Happy and Beat the Winter Blues

Museum of Happiness, Re:Centre, top speakers and workshop leaders from around the world have teamed up to host a 3 day Winter Happiness Festival where you can discover the science and art of happiness in playful ways.

The Winter Happiness Festival aims to encourage community, connection and play, while sharing the secrets of long-lasting happiness. However, there’s an even bigger issue at its heart. While a new year brings hope, with it often comes anxiety – one of the biggest causes of mental distress and depression.

Museum of Happiness co-founder and best-selling author Shamash Alidina, explains: “Winter can be a particularly depressing time in London. The cold weather makes it harder to get out the house to mix with friends and the lack of sunlight can be hard for many. We want to offer a warm space for people to meet with other friendly Londoners, learn easy habits to cultivate a more positive outlook in life, savour the moment and have some fun. And who knows, you may just find yourself feeling a bit more upbeat too!”
